Buffalo City College Requirements

Students intending to pursue any one of the Report 191 (NATED) programmes or National Certificate Vocational (NCV) need to have a Grade 12 Certificate or be currently in Grade 12 during the year of application. Below are the requirements for the Tvet colleges.

    (N2, N3, N4, N5 & N6)
  • Civil Engineering (N2,

NCV ENGINEERING STUDIES (FULL-
TIME AT JOHN KNOX BOKWE CAMPUS

Entry requirements are as follows:

  • Certified copy of Grade 12 certificate—not older than 3 months and certified at a police station
  • Certified copy of Identity Document
  • Grade 12 Accounting OR Mathematics for Financial Management
  • Rewrite students must upload their academic records with a college stamp

NCV BUSINESS STUDIES (FULLTIME AT EAST LONDON CAMPUS

  • Education & Development (L2,3 & 4)
  • Office Administration (L2,3 & 4)
  • Finance, Economics & Accounting (L2,3 & 4)
  • Tourism (L2,3 & 4)
  • Information Technology & Computer Sciences (L2,3,& 4)

Applicants wanting Report 191 education Part-time courses are required to meet the following requirements

NB: REPORT 191 EDUCARE IS OFFERED AT THE EAST LONDON CAMPUS- ONLY N6 RETURNING
ENGINEERING STUDIES N4-N6 (PART-TIME) – Subject to demand

  • Civil Engineering
  • Electrical Engineering
  • Mechanical Engineering

Entry requirements are as follows:

  • Certified copy of Grade 12 certificate with Mathematics/Physical Science/Technical Matric – not older than 3 months
    and certified at a police station
  • Certified copy of Identity Document – not older than 3 months and certified by SAPS/ police station
  • Rewrite students must upload their academic records with a college stamp.

Entry requirements for NCV are as follows:

  • Certified copy of school report, Grade 10 passed, Gr 11/failed, Grade 12 with Mathematics – not older than 3 months
    and certified at a police station
  • Certified copy of Identity Document – not older than 3 months by (SAPS/ police station certified
  • Proof of address
