- Each semester concludes with both an internal and external test.
- Each certificate (i.e., N4) requires students to pass 4 subjects to complete it.
- To receive the National N Diploma (N4, N5, N6), students must pass a total of 12 topics and complete 18 months of in-service training.
- Employment in a relevant field by students would count toward the in-service training requirement.
- Students should be aware that it is feasible to log the 18 months of in-service training concurrently with the theoretical studies after enrolling in N6 (provided all N4 and N5 topics were passed), but that the Diploma won’t be awarded until at least three years have passed since the first enrollment.
- The in-service component has to abide by the rules of the particular program. In-service training authenticity will be discussed with students.

- Applicants must have a grade 12 certificate or National Senior Certificate(NSC) or National Curriculum Vocational (NCV) level 4

- Applicants must have 2 years of working experience in the related field
- Foreign Applicants must have the SAQA accreditation
- Applicants’ minimum age shouldn’t be less than 20 years.
