Once you’ve completed a Matric Rewrite course, you won’t have to limit yourself to just one or two subjects to rewrite. You can pick one or two subjects to improve your grade point average.

  • How long does it take to complete the Matric Rewrite Course?

The Matric Rewrite course can be completed in 12, 24, or 36 months. The recommended period is between 12 and 24 months.

To qualify for the Matric Rewrite course, you must:

  •  Have a grade 9 or equivalent certificate (ABET level 04)
  •  Have an incomplete Matric result or your Matric Certificate
  •  Be 21 years or older at the time of your final exams
  •  Be able to read and write in English or Afrikaans

Which Certificate Will I Receive When I Complete the Matric Rewrite Course

  • You will be issued an Amended Senior Certificate once you have successfully finished the Matric Rewrite course. This certificate will be treated equally to a traditional Matric certificate because it is on the same level as one.

What NQF Level Is the Certificate for the Matric Rewrite

  • Like a standard Matric Certificate, the Matric Rewrite Certificate is on an NQF level 4.
