Higher Certificate in Construction and Engineering Drafting aims to equip the student with the theoretical background and practical know-how of a combination of drawing and computer-aided drafting skills to enable the student to function well in a drafting office in a construction or architectural environment. Certificate In Draughtsmanship Application Fee

You will need to pay an application fee when pursuing a certificate in draughtsmanship:

  • Cash fee: R32 000
  • Cash Fee Deposit: R3 200
  • Term Fee: R36 480 | 11 monthly instalments R2 985 per month
  • Term Fee Deposit: R3 648

INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS

  • Application Fee R3 500

The requirements for enrolling in an N4 Draughting course can differ slightly based on the institution and country of study, but in South Africa (which commonly uses the N-designation), the following are standard requirements:
Matric Certificate:
  • Need to have passed Grade 12.

N3 Certificate (optional in some institutions):

  • you have an equivalent qualification to the aforementioned;
  • your equivalent qualification is evaluated by the South African Qualifications Authority (SAQA);
  • you have a valid study visa issued in the name of The Independent Institute of Education (IIE) that covers the duration of your studies.
  • An USAf Exemption Certificate is required   –   the Office of the Registrar will facilitate, on behalf of the student, an application for degree admission to USAf, once the student has provided proof of payment to USAf.
