Does Nsfas Fund Northlink College?
Are you are student of Northlink College and want to know if the NSFAS fund the college? The National Student Financial Aid Scheme is an initiative of the government of South Africa to help the natives and students of the country who are having financial difficulties and also those from less privileged homes to have a better education.
Northlink College Nsfas Application Dates;
The NSFAS applications for the 2024 academic year is currently ongoing, therefore we encourage all interested applicant to start with their application process now. The application was opened on the 28th of September, 2023 and will end on the 7th of January, 2024 but will be extended to the 21st of January 2024. Applicants should observe these dates above to prevent application rejection.
Northlink College Nsfas Application Requirements;
Applicants who want to apply for financial aid should take note of the above application requirements before applying for the fund.
- Applicants must provide a South African identity document/ an unabridged birth certificate
- Applicants must provide a valid ID of their parents and/or guardians (or death certificate where applicable)
- Applicants must provide a valid ID of each person living with them in their home
- Applicants must provide a pay advice/letter of employment/pension advice (not older than three months)
Northlink College Nsfas Application Eligibilities;
Applicants who fall within these categories can start with their application process;
- Applicants must be a South African citizen
- Applicants must have all SASSA grant recipients qualify for funding
- Applicants whose combined household income is not more than R350 000 yearly
- A person with a disability: Combined household income must not be more than R600 000 yearly
- Applicants who started studying before 2018 and whose household income is not more than R122 000 per annum.
Northlink College Nsfas Application Process 2024;
Applicants should follow these guidelines to ensure successful applications;
- Applicants must go to www.nsfas.org.za
- Applicants must click on myNsfas Tab
- Applicants must click on the register
- Applicants must tick the box to allow Nsfas to verify their details
- Applicants must capture their ID number as stated on their ID documents
- Applicants must type in their full name and surname as indicated on the ID
- Applicants must enter their current and functioning email address
- Applicants must confirm their email address
- Applicants must enter their cell phone number
- Applicants must create a password for themselves
- Applicants must confirm the password they generated
- Applicants must upload their ID copy
- Applicants must click on Register to apply
- An OTP will be sent to the email and phone number the applicants provided
- Applicants must type in the OTP and click on SUBMIT
- Your Nsfas application has been successfully completed
