Who can register?

  • Applicants (new applicants & Unisa students who applied for admission to a new qualification) may only register if they have received an offer of placement from Unisa and have accepted the offer online. Unisa reserves the right to not process and/or cancel your registration if it is found that you were incorrectly admitted to a qualification.
  •  Re-registering students may register for the 2024 academic year once the registration period opens.

You must have completed Business Economics, Geography, and Travel and Tourism in your matric year and have at least level 4 in English (your native language or your first foreign language), level 3 in mathematics, or level 4 in mathematical literacy.

What is the duration of a Unisa diploma?

A 360-credit qualification can be finished in 8 years (a 3-year degree or certificate).

How many years is a diploma in tourism management?

This is a three-year full-time, contact-learning programme. Substantial time is spent in the industry. The remaining period is spent on full-time classes and fieldwork.

Registration for Tourism Course at Unisa

The permitted online registration period for the 2024 academic year will only be open to students whose applications for admission were granted and re-registrants (who achieved enough progress during the current academic year).
