Do Universities Consider Grade 11 Final Marks for Admission?

Grade 11 marks is the grades or scores students receive in their coursework during the 11th grade, part of high school education. These marks can be based on various assessments, including exams, projects, and class participation.  Students in high school feel more pressure to perform well academically as they approach their final year of school. Many students are unclear as to how important their Grade 11 final grade is in terms of applying to universities.

Do universities take these grades into account when granting students provisional admission based on their Grade 11 results? You are admitted to the university in this case your Grade 12 is not ready, but you must pass the Matric to keep your admission. If your Matric results are weak, you run the risk of losing your temporary admission.

Universities use students’ Grade 11 test scores to provide temporary admission. This happens when someone is accepted into a university based on their grade point average from grade 11, but they must pass the matriculation exam to keep their admission.
