Is it Possible To Combine Two Matric Statements
Are you wondering if you can combine two matrix statements? Or perhaps you have taken matric exams in different years or subjects, and you are curious about how to merge them into a single document. Whatever the situation is, we have got the answers you need in this post.
It is possible to combine your matric results if you took the exam in more than one session. If you pass your additional exam in high school, the Department of Basic Education immediately combines your scores. Only if you did not pass with a bachelor’s degree on your first attempt at matric can your results be combined.
Applicants have several convenient options for submitting their requests to combine matric results, catering to various preferences for in-person or remote processing. One primary method is applying in person at the nearest Department of Basic Education (DBE) office or Provincial Education Department (PED) office. This allows for direct interaction and ensures all documents are submitted correctly, although it is advisable to contact the office beforehand to confirm their ability to assist.
For those preferring digital submission, an online application is available through the e-Government portal at www.eservices.gov.za. This requires prior registration on the portal and the submission of all necessary documents in PDF format. An alternative remote option is applying via postal service, where applicants can download and complete the replacement certificate form, attach all required documents, and send them. Payment for the application can be made through various methods, including credit card, debit card, EFT, or postal order, with postal orders typically made out to the Matriculation Board.
The cost of combining matric results and obtaining a replacement certificate is subject to change based on the financial year. For instance, fees were R170 for a replacement certificate and an additional R60 for a statement of results for the period of April 1, 2025, to March 31, 2026.
