Motheo TVET College 2026 Admission Requirements
NQF Levels 2 – 4
- NQF Level 2: Requires a Grade 9 pass or an equivalent NQF Level 1 qualification.
- NQF Levels 3 and 4: Require competency in the learning outcomes of the previous NQF levels (i.e., Level 2 for Level 3, and Level 3 for Level 4).
National Certificate (Vocational) – NQF Levels 2 to 4
- Must have passed Grade 9 and be 16 years of age or older
General Programmes:
- 40% pass in English and 30% pass in Mathematics
- Finance, Economics, and Accounting:
- 50% pass in Mathematics
Hospitality:
- 40% pass in both English and Mathematics
Safety in Society:
- Must complete a fitness test
Agricultural Studies:
- Grade 9 with 40% pass in Mathematics or
- Grade 11 with 40% pass in Mathematical Literacy
- 40% pass in English
- Note: All applicants are required to complete a compulsory Learner Profiler Assessment.
Report 191 N4 – N6
- National Senior Certificate (Grade 12) or NCV Level 4 with a minimum of 40% in English
Hospitality:
- Grade 12 with 50% in Consumer Studies or 40% in Hospitality Studies
Tourism:
- Grade 12 with 50% in either Tourism or Geography
Financial Management:
- Grade 12 with 40% in Accounting
Engineering Studies – Report 191 N2 – N3
- Grade 12 with at least 30% in Mathematics
- Grade 12 with at least 40% in English
