Why Tourism?
One of the largest and fastest-growing economic sectors in the world during the past 60 years, tourism has continued to grow and diversify. International tourist arrivals are anticipated to rise by 3,3% annually between 2010 and 2030, according to the United Nations World Tourism Organization’s (UNWTO) most recent long-term forecast on tourism trends.(UNWTO Tourism for 2030).
By 2030, there will be 1,8 billion foreign tourist visitors worldwide, a 43 million increase in annual arrivals. Increasingly, tourism is a major force behind socioeconomic development worldwide.
