Are distinction and a bachelor’s pass equivalent?
No, earning a distinction does not guarantee that your bachelor’s degree will be successfully earned. Your bachelor’s degree pass is calculated using your final Matric results, which will decide your APS. The requirements for a Bachelor’s Degree Pass are as follows:
- 40% or above for the Home Language
- 50% or above for four subjects
- 30% or above for two other subjects
