The University of Pretoria (UP), a college in South Africa, is a place where students interested in tourism and hospitality can pursue a degree in the field.

One of the primary reasons of economic expansion and one with an aggressive growth trajectory is the tourism industry. This has emphasized the importance of coordinating tourist research, which enables wise decision-making in this industry.

Tourism Management

The Department of Marketing Management in the Faculty of Economic and Management Sciences houses the Tourism Management Division, which focuses its efforts on postgraduate students enrolled in the Honours, Masters, and Doctoral programs. If they are qualified, local and foreign students from a variety of academic backgrounds who are interested in studying a subject related to tourism are welcome to apply for any of the postgraduate programs.

Why Tourism?

One of the largest and fastest-growing economic sectors in the world during the past 60 years, tourism has continued to grow and diversify. International tourist arrivals are anticipated to rise by 3,3% annually between 2010 and 2030, according to the United Nations World Tourism Organization’s (UNWTO) most recent long-term forecast on tourism trends.(UNWTO Tourism for 2030). By 2030, there will be 1,8 billion foreign tourist visitors worldwide, a 43 million increase in annual arrivals. Tourism Courses In University
