Buffalo City TVET College, established in 2002, is a prominent institution providing quality technical and vocational education. The college is located in the vibrant Eastern Cape province of South Africa, specifically in East London. Its main physical address is at the corner of Lukin Road and King Street, in Southernwood, East London, 5200.
The college was formed through the merger of three institutions in the Greater East London area: East London College, Border Technical College, and John Knox Bokwe Careers College in Mdantsane. While the Border Technical College premises were closed, its programs were integrated into other campuses. The John Knox Bokwe Campus continues to operate in Mdantsane N.U 1, which is approximately 6.7 km from the East London City Centre.
