Which Public College Offers Teaching?: Do colleges offer teaching courses?

Admission Requirements for Teaching in SA

The minimum admission requirement is an appropriate NQF Level 6 or NQF Level 7 qualification. At NQF Level 6, the following qualifications will be considered for entry into the AdvDip TVT:

  • an undergraduate Diploma (NQF level 6, 360 credits);
  • and a National N Diploma (NQF level 6, 360 credits)

At NQF Level 7, the following qualifications will be considered for entry into the AdvDip TVT

  • an undergraduate Bachelor’s Degree;
  • a Bachelor of Technology;
  • and a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE).
