Requirements For NCV Level 4 Students

• minimum pass requirements for national certificate vocational entry must be met

• NSC Diploma: at least 30% in English as the language of learning and teaching (LOLT)
• NC(V) Diploma pass: at least 40% in English
• Senior Certificate (SC): minimum 33.3% in English, no endorsement required
• Senior Certificate (SCa): Diploma pass, minimum 30% in English LOLT for NSC/SC(a) or 33.3% in SC
• International applicants must provide a SAQA Evaluation Certificate showing equivalence to NSC Level 4 with at least 40% in English or equivalent.
• Alternatively, a cognate Higher Certificate or Advanced Certificate may satisfy the minimum admission requirements for diploma studies.
• If the qualification is not related to the discipline, at least 20% of credits must be in academic literacy or numeracy-related subjects.
