  • To register and complete the Foundation programme in the specific discipline with VUT, subject to the admission requirements for the Foundation programme for this specific discipline.

Requirements: International qualification

  • All international qualifications will be evaluated by the International Office based on the Swedish scale.

BTech: Tourism Management

  • 60% average for a completed ND in Tourism Management or equivalent qualification in a Tourism related field with no less than 300 credits for theory.

MTech: Tourism Management

  • 65% average for a completed BTech or equivalent qualification in the related discipline. 65% average for Research Methodology on NQF Level 7.

Additional Requirements for Admission

A suitable bachelor’s degree or an advanced diploma in tourism management at NQF Level 7 are the prerequisites for admission. The prospective student must also have at least a 60% average in the prerequisite qualification. Experienced students who don’t satisfy these minimal academic standards will need to undergo a rigorous RPL procedure to determine their eligibility to participate in the program.
