The 2025 application dates for the NSFAS at Cape College started in September 2024 and will end in the second week of January but will be extended to the end of January 2025. Therefore we plead with all interested applicant to start with their application process to avoid rejection.
- Cape College NSFAS Application Requirements
Applicants and students of Cape College should take note of the application requirements before applying for financial aid.
- Applicants should submit a South African identity document/birth certificate
- Applicants should submit a valid ID of parents/ guardians (or death certificate where applicable)
- Applicants should submit a valid ID of each person living with you in your home
- Applicants should submit a pay advice/letter of employment/pension advice (not older than three months).

- Cape College NSFAS Application Eligibilities
Applicants who fall within these categories can apply for financial aid at Cape College.
- Applicant must be a South African citizen
- Applicants must have SASSA grant recipients qualify for funding
- Applicants whose combined household income is not more than R350 000 per annum
- Applicants with a disability: Combined household income must not be more than R600 000 yearly
- Students who started studying before 2018 and whose household income is not more than R122 000 yearly.

Applicants should follow these guidelines to apply for NSFAS at Cape College.
- Applicants must go to www.nsfas.org.za
- Applicants must click on myNSFAS Tab
- Applicants must click on the register
- Applicants must tick the box to allow Nsfas to verify their details
- Applicants must capture your ID number as it is stated on your ID documents
- Applicants must type in your full name and surname as indicated on the ID
- Applicants must enter their current and functioning email address
- Applicants must confirm their email address
- Applicants must enter their cell phone number
- Applicants must create a password for yourself
- Applicants must confirm the password you generated
- Applicants must upload their ID copy
- Applicants must click on Register to apply
- An OTP will be sent to the email and phone number of the applicants.
- Applicants must type in the OTP and click on SUBMIT
- Your NSFAS application has been completed.
