Cape Peninsula University of Technology (CPUT) Fee
- Course fees vary depending on the program and are reviewed annually, so they may change. A detailed fees brochure can be requested from the faculty offices. Examination fees are included in the course fees.
- All fees must be paid in advance and are non-refundable.
- There is an application fee of R100.
- Upon provisional acceptance, a fee of R1,250 is payable.
- First-year students must pay R450 within two weeks of confirming their acceptance. This amount, combined with the provisional acceptance fee, totals R1,700 and will be credited to the student’s account. If the student decides not to take up their place, this amount will not be refunded.
- A registration fee of R550 is payable at the start of the academic year. The remaining balance can be paid in two installments or spread over 10 monthly payments from February to November.
- Discounts are available:
- A 5% discount if the full annual fees are paid upfront before the specified deadline.
- A 2.5% discount for full payment of first semester fees before the deadline.
- A 2.5% discount for second-semester fees paid in full before the deadline.
